Tag early for the best selection!
Once again Hopestill Farm is offering cut-your-own Christmas trees. Join us to begin or continue a family farm tradition.
It has been a trying season in some ways, but in fact our trees thrived in the abundant rainfall we had throughout the summer. As a result, the stand is full of terrific-looking, healthy trees.
Our trees are mostly white spruce plus some blue spruce, with many to choose from in the 6 foot to 8 foot range, along with a few bigger bargains as well. Like all our produce, our trees are certified organically grown. All trees are $65 by Venmo (hopestillfarm), cash, or check. (Sorry, no credit cards). We ask for a $20 deposit once you tag a tree.
Want to be the very first to choose?
This year we are again offering you the opportunity to be the very first family on the lot if you are the high bidder for one of our trees at the www.HorseSenseability.org online auction. HorseSensability is a riding center in Sherborn that helps underserved and at-risk youth and young adults develop life skills by working with horses in a peaceful, rural setting. Their auction opens Monday, November 1, and we’ve donated two trees to help them raise money for their programs. If you are one of the winning bidders, you will have an hour to yourself on the morning on the first day we open to choose your tree. The auction site is https://www.32auctions.com/HS2021Auction
Join NOFA/Mass, get $5 off!
We are once again offering a discount to members of the Northeast Organic Farming Association, Massachusetts chapter (NOFA/Mass). Join now at www.nofamass.org .
Every year, NOFA/Mass teaches hundreds of people across the state better ways to grow food and take care of the landscape through our workshops and conferences; provides critical lobbying and organizing efforts to advance key bills on Beacon Hill to improve soil health and reduce irresponsible herbicide use; brings intensive training in gardening to urban neighborhoods in Springfield and elsewhere, through our food access programs; and helps farmers improve their soil, and their understanding of the importance of soil organic matter, through our soil carbon programs. This year we helped pass the Healthy Soils Bill, and have helped spearhead pollinator protection throughout the Commonwealth, including through my work on the state Mosquito Control Task Force, whose charge from the Legislature includes making recommendations for more environmentally sensitive approaches to mosquito control in the state.
You don’t need to be a farmer to be a member! Join now at www.nofamass.org to support this important work, AND get $5 off your tree!

You are of course welcome to cut your tree at the same time as you select it, or come on one of the weekends we are open, or make an appointment for a different day and time. We have handsaws, or you are welcome to bring your own. No axes or chainsaws, please. We also have twine for tying your tree on your car.
We look forward to seeing you!
